After the long winter, trees are starting to wake up. Longer days of sunshine and warmer temperatures are getting the sap running. Soon the buds will start to pop open with fresh new leaves and birds will be building their nests.

Before the trees are in full leaf, you might want to assess if the winter has left any damage to your trees. Are there any damaged branches? Do you see any limbs cracked from the weight of snow? Perhaps a few snapped branches left hanging? Are any of the branches void of buds, where others hold many?
